Pros
So far so good *****

Nothing yet, other than retail hours. Which is not the company's fault.

Pros
I learnt directly from the country manager and took part in meaningful streamlining of the processes, in a short period of 3 months, I honed MS Excel skill (which subsequently got me a distinction in a module), learned about customer service and developed my love for menswear further. The working environment is friendly with horizontal hierarchy, we have our meals together, work together and sit next to each other in a open office concept. I got to see that my work directly affects the customer and the company’s processes unlike in a MNC.
Kontras
No career progression because it’s a very small team
Pros
The uniform allowance was generous, and around 80% of the staff were amazing to work with, aiming more towards outfitters than management.
Kontras
Micro-management, bullying and disorder were a clear theme during my time of work. No thorough training was presented, but they expected you to know everything. They would build up long-term employees for promotions and opportunities that never came to fruition, but expected them to be enthusiastic about their position in the business. There were obvious favourites that had the opportunity to thrive and make notable mistakes without question, but if you were not a favourite and decided to make a relevant point or suggestion, they would make sure you knew your place. No raises, no bonuses and no respectable benefits for employees and their contributions towards the business (which was always taken for granted), but the minute a mistake was made after a solid month of progress, they'd have your head and treat you as if it was your first day. The work culture was non-existent, long-term employees were lucky if they left with a card or a goodbye. They should have applied the same energy they had with their customers onto their employees, as many people who believed in the business would still be there.
