Pros
No management in the office. PTO can be used before you earn it. Benefits first day. Commissions paid on regular checks. Under the Allstate umbrella. Pension. If you're single,OOP for insurance (medical, dental and vision) depending on what options you choose is less than $14 a check. LGBTQ+ friendly.
Kontras
No management in office. They just seem to hire anyone, and upper management has said they just need bodies in the seats. The manager is too busy trying to be everyone's friend and allows employees to sleep, vape and steal time. Doesn't care that it affects other employees. This company has gone way downhill since letting Mark Damato go. The new commission structure WOULD BE great if only calls were coming in. They have stopped paid leads so the call volume has GREATLY decreased and agents are not happy. You have to go out marketing for leads but you only have 1 HOUR A WEEK to do a minimum of 4 visits. You have to do a minimum of 5 local marketing and 16 business partner visits a month with half of them being apartment complexes to push renters. Communication is sorely lacking. Managers don't take accountability. Training sucks for new hires. They now expect new hires to schedule their first licensing test attempt after their first full week. You only have so many attempts at passing, and 60 days in which to do so. They recently closed 50 stores which left over 100 employees in limbo. They offered 2 position suggestions to apply to and the "support " offered for these transitional employees is a joke.
