Pros

Good pay. The workload is manageable especially if you've become used to the daily tasks. Good for people who don't like socializing too much since we no longer have weekly huddles unlike before. You can focus on work and get dismissed if you work fast and efficiently. Just make sure your work is high quality.

Kontras

This company has an IC structure so we don't get paid leaves and benefits. Work is contractual(annually) and every time our contract ends, we have to undergo a re-application process for our same job position and hope we pass the assessment every time.

CEO's pep talks are fruitless. The biggest threat to workplace culture isn't lazy employees, it's toxic managers, kept in power by senior leadership that won't take responsibility. Not everyone on staff is entitled or underperforming. They're just trying to survive under leadership that's been allowed to rot from the inside out. These managers aren't just untrained, they're also unchecked. Promoted from output, protected from accountability, and shielded from all the consequences of their actions. They lead with fear, favoritism, and fragile egos. Poor communications and terrible morale aren't employee issues; they're symptoms of a culture that protects dysfunction at the top. Stop blaming the staff, and start asking why the most harmful people are the ones who still have a job
