Pros
Their pay rate and benefits are very competitive as far as Northern MI is concerned. They do nice things for their employees when business is good. They try to shield employees from the times that business isn't so good.
Kontras
Management in several departments is incompetent. However, due to length of employment and corporate culture, it's tolerated. New ideas and talent aren't valued the way they should be, consequently, younger employees tend to look for opportunities where they may not make as much money, but can actually be listened to. There are quite a few inappropriate outside of work relationships that take place, which have a direct impact on employee morale.
