Cant say about other teams, but the ones run by a certain incompetent individual are hell to work in. On-call schedule is horrible, follow my order culture, salary raise is a joke. Back to office has no use or meaning but still people are called. Career will lose its value because there is very limited time or resource to learn new things. Gross politics. Stay away if you can. Performance reviews are heavily dependent on whether the manager/director likes you or not.
