Pros
Incredible CEO and team. You get room to be creative and bring your own solutions to the table. Everyone is talented and kind. My bosses care about me as a person, which is the first time I've seen that in the game industry. I think this is the perfect place to work if you're a talented midcareer developer looking to challenge yourself and learn.
Kontras
It could be a bad fit if you need direct instruction. There's little mentorship because leads are busy. They expect you to be in charge of your own growth. I like that but others could not. The company has growing pains from its indie days. The leadership in the narrative department is toxic. It's a married team (extremely unprofessional situation) who don't understand game narrative. If your role means you work directly with narrative, the department will make it hard to do your job. The writers always seem to leave after a while. If you want to work here because you love narrative-driven games, keep your expectations in check. If your work comes late in the pipeline like animation and audio, things can be stressful, but the company is working on this and getting better.
