Reaktion von Checkout.com
8moWe take all feedback seriously and appreciate the opportunity to address the points raised.
We want to be clear that recognition and progression at Checkout.com are based on merit, not proximity to any individual or group. Our culture is built around rewarding performance, impact, and contribution. We have invested significantly in the systems and processes that surround performance management, which allows for oversight across departments by Checkout leadership and the People team.
Regarding the concerns about favouritism and politics, if any colleague feels that these principles have not been applied fairly, we encourage them to raise their concerns confidentially so they can be thoroughly reviewed. We have many pathways to do so here at Checkout and we strongly encourage employees to engage across those channels, as you will have seen this month internally with our engagement survey.
We recognise that in any fast growing, high velocity environment, decisions sometimes need to move quickly as #PaceMatters here at Checkout. It's also important, where possible and with respect to employee confidentiality, that we be transparent about reasons and strategy behind change.
We regret to hear that your experience did not reflect the inclusive and merit-based culture we have here at Checkout.com. We remain committed to building a workplace where every person feels respected, supported, and recognised for their contributions.
