Pros

I've worked for a lot of companies that treat their employees selfishly, then try to bribe them into feeling important with goofy events or useless benefits. I keep being surprised, again and again, by how genuine management here is in their respect for and desire to help their workers. They want the drivers and office workers to feel not just willing to show up and drive/type but feel supported in their actions, happy to be here, and able to reach their goals. Lots of my former bosses have been politely distant or uncaring; it's rare to find genuine kindness and compassion across an entire management team like I've seen here. They're also great about hiring and promoting women in a mainly male industry, and it gives them an edge in interpersonal- and multi-tasking-related management ability.

Kontras

Drivers are out doing their best all over the country and can sometimes get the wrong idea or think people in the office don't care about their needs. Hopefully the efforts we're all making to keep everyone connected will help them realize how much they're appreciated.

Pros

Attentive manager and supervisor. As long as you do your job. They will leave you alone. Good pay, Decent benefits. PTO, paid national holidays. Time off request pretty much guaranteed.

Kontras

Takes awhile depending on location to have equipment fixed. Dispatch sort of micro manages you on time.

Pros

Work independently, paid weekly, up to date fleet well some……..

Kontras

All the people in management is terrible. Remember, HR is paid by this company so they are rarely on your side! They micromanage the crap out of you. If you get into an accident don’t expect this company to have your back they will drug test you and dismiss you. They try and cut back on overtime one minute and other times they’ll ask you to Run multiple routes. So basically, if it benefits his company to get the freight out, you can get your hours not 40 hours a week. They basically lie to you. If you can’t find anything else apply, but if you know your worth skip past! Trust me, you can do better way better! Companies have to understand if you do not have any drivers you will not make any money. We are the bread and butter.
