New CEO, Steve Angel, has come in and ended remote/hybrid work. The attendance policy now directs managers to micro-manage employee's attendance and remove any work schedule flexibility with any deviation from 9-5 requiring manager approval. 3 unexcused absences is now immediate termination. Absences were previously not tracked unless an employee was actively abusing the system. This is only the beginning, he will continue to destroy the company culture and turn CSX into a toxic work environment again.
