Pros
Solid salary and quarterly bonuses (vs. annually) Some of the leaders know what they're doing - unfortunately not those who are actually running the company
Kontras
Corporate forecasting is based on optimistic fiction, not realism, which recently resulted in laying off ~30% of US-based employees. Execs are adamant about the company reinventing itself but give zero direction on what the future looks like. CEO has gambled and lost on multiple new business initiatives, and the larger company has paid the price. Layoff decisions were emotional and not based on performance/billing. As other reviewers mentioned, favoritism is well at play. Pre-layoff, folks banded together, switching roles and finagling extra time from the client to protect themselves and their closest friends. Have the impression the company is hanging by a few tenuous threads with nothing in the pipeline, and unless they come up with something fast, everyone will be searching for new opportunities before the year is out.
