Pay and benefits are decent. Other reps on the floor are generally good people even if they come and go. Women beware.

Over the past few years everything in tech support has turned into being all about politics. Solid work ethic, technical skill, and overall competence are all 2nd priority to pleasing the supervisors and managers. If you do not get buddy buddy with them, you will find yourself answering the phones until you leave. All management is competent at is politics and watching their own back. Doing their job is far from their first priority. The problems start at the top. If you ask the techs in Sioux Falls if they have met the executives they will tell you they haven't. Yet they will have all the time in the world for other departments, and the supervisors. Management of tech support has consistently failed to accomplish anything asked on any level by anyone on the floor. A manager will listen and then give every reason why nothing can be done about a problem. This has occurred multiple times and can be verified by multiple techs. The "turf wars" they have engaged in the past with other department managers have hamstrung almost anyone wanting to leave the department to try other opportunities. The supervisors are into high school level drama. They play favorites, have "pets", and will hype them over everyone else if an opportunity opens up for advancement. The result of this over the past several years has been many promotions that are questionable at best. The ones promoted are terrible at the job and burn out but stay because they pay is good. Morale has sunk, burnout is at an all time high and experienced techs are leaving the company in droves. Tech support in this location is neglected and has terrible management. It is the "red headed stepchild" of Sioux Falls.

The people that I worked with both internally and externally were amazing. I always felt as though I was doing work that mattered.

New leadership seems to be less focused on the people. It seems the aim has shifted to the stock price for the shareholders.
