The overall compensation package has become non-competitive, and each year it becomes further eroded while salaries remain stagnant. Leadership lacks integrity and cannot live up to the social contract it has with its employees, and the response to COVID highlighted the companies financial struggles and their lack of empathy. The majority of employees suffered significant compensation cuts throughout 2020 with the understanding jobs would be preserved, and the betrayal felt after the layoffs in October, during the height of the pandemic, demoralized the employee base back down to Conduent levels.
