After going through an intensive hiring process, we trust our employees from day one. Our trust in our employees is clearly demonstrated by the fact that we allow, and continue to allow, all our staff to work remotely during the COVID pandemic. While working remotely, or from office, being away from your computer for 5 minutes is completely acceptable and we do encourage employees to occasionally step away so that their minds can refresh. You just need to let us know your headed out for a short break or walk.
We’re always striving to improve our employee’s skills and provide training so that our staff can excel in their roles. In order to achieve this, we invest in our employee’s education and provide many of our staff with fully paid SAIT courses, online Udemy courses and peer mentoring. We ACTIVELY encourage professional development.
At Britec, staff can work two jobs so long as it doesn’t interfere with their current position. We are quite clear on this and it is written in our employee handbook. We also don’t have any lawsuits against us for wrongfully firing employees.
