Pros
Great CEO and some incredible talent at the EVP and VP level, who are willing to take you under their wing if you commit yourself to climbing the ladder. Very high expectations for work quality, but you improve FAST if you're a good learner.
Kontras
Weird office politics, people tend to stick to their established groups and can be a bit cold to new hires until they've proven themselves.
There are only really two types of people working at the SF office—either very senior because its the HQ or young entry/intermediate level (often newly hired out of college) employees. Bit of a generational gap thats made very clear when it comes to socializing in office and commitment post-work happy hours (all the senior levels clear out with the corporate cards at 4 pm to pick up their kids, leaving the younger employees to try and fill in the energy gap). NYC office overall has a much younger, contagious energy that I would pick over SF.
Quick to hire, but quick to fire. Slow to promote, I saw several coworkers who had been working at AE or SAE level for 3-4 years, when they would have been in a more Managerial role at other agencies in the same amount of time.
