"Underlings" are great folks, technology is ever-changing and exciting.

The HR team is an absolute joke. I left right before some changes were made there, but I recently heard of someone being offered less than another offer that they had shared. Who does that? For a few years it felt as if nobody was on the side of employees; HR could not be trusted. Following an acquisition, many senior members of the acquired/floundering company were put in position very high within the company. This resulted in many changes, and many unhappy employees.

Pros

There are no good reasons that I could find. It's a job, not a vocation.

Sweatshop mentality, burns out employees quickly, high turnover rate, high pressure constantly. Incomplete information from "management" requiring a large effort on the part of employees to determine what needs to be done. (And whether that conforms to what has been promised is another issue.) I found that management was immature and more than once was present for screaming tirades towards high performing employees. If this is considered a motivational strategy...it worked. It motivated me to leave quickly. Benefits are not incredible. Hours are too long, time off is a joke. There are tons of other companies out there that are significantly better to work for....go elsewhere.
