Aladdin has many career employees who've been there from 20-40 years. They have always been 100% focused on the customer, and hold many patents for innovative technologies. Because Aladdin is part of a global conglomerate of companies, the benefits and pay scale is very good.
Kontras
New management with new ideas has come in, disrupting the existing culture of "customer first." It's now just all about the money, and nothing else. Employee ideas and input is not solicited or encouraged. Employees are only there to implement directives from above. More than half the sales team has left in the past few months, and several key executives were pushed out. People who've left are not being replaced in order to pump up the budget numbers. Remaining staff is working extremely long hours to try and take up the slack. There's absolutely no work-life balance. People are stressed to the max throughout the entire company. The morale is at rock bottom and depressing. People are on edge.
