Toyota Material Handling, USA (TMHU) doesn't make the kind of forks you can lift to your mouth. A subsidiary of Toyota Industries, the #1 selling lift truck supplier in the US manufactures and distributes a full line of forklifts and material handling equipment bearing the Toyota name. In addition to its electric, diesel, and liquefied propane gas lifts, TMHU offers aerial lifts, pallet trucks, order pickers, and accessories, such as backup alarms, lights, and mirrors. TMHU also stands as the sole maker of compressed natural gas powered lift trucks. Of all the TMHU's trucks sold in the US, 99% are made in the US at the company's Indiana-based Toyota Industrial Equipment Manufacturing (TIEM) facility.
