We have an exciting role for a Professional Services Senior Sales to join our Professional Services team. This represents an personal contribution role overseeing the Services Sales objectives and Customers for the DACH region, remote based with some visits to our German Head Offices located in Munich and Frankfurt.
As Professional Services Sales, you will show expertise in identifying strategic business opportunities for the organisation and achieve healthy business growth within region. This position requires a person who can lead from the front in recognizing opportunities, along with the sales experience and strong commercial insights.
This role will be closely working together with our Product Sales and Pre-sales teams defining regional and vertical oriented business development plans, creating and maintaining key relationships and negotiating and closing business deals. This position will have quarterly financial targets (bookings and project profitability) that must be met in order for the organisation to attain projected revenue and build consulting services backlog.
The role would suit someone with a broad services knowledge, possessing the ability to lead & influence the behaviour of others and in doing so create Trust and Empathy. It also has high exposure to our in region leadership team and forms a good basis for personal development and growth.
While the role is not a Technical one, a good understanding of Contact Centre business or SaaS is required, ideally including experience of Cloud based solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities for this role include (but are not limited to).
  • Align with Sales leadership as a member of the Genesys pursuit teams
  • Pursue Professional Services sales leads and prospective clients
  • Show the ability to lead and assume Sales responsible in region by helping to set the strategy
  • Network and develop strong business relationships. Contribute to strategic and tactical planning for Professional Services
  • Initiate and build client relationships, delivering presentations and proposals
  • Develop and maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions & customer buying strategies in order to negotiate and close business deals
  • Generate pipeline of services orders to attain financial objectives
  • Build strong relationships with the key partners of Genesys
  • Creation of offer documentation, and associated reporting
  • Travel up to 25% to customers to deliver presentations (mostly DACH Region)
Ideal requirements:
  • Degree qualified in computer technology, or related technical discipline, or equivalent professional technical experience and two years of related experience
  • 8+ years in a business setting with at least five years of experience in customer-facing sales within a business solutions telecommunications environment
  • Ability to work effectively both individually and with a team
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal and presentation proficiency, and excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven success in sales - lead generation, and relationship management.
  • Able to influence thinking or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations
  • Excellent English language skills
  • Capable of accurate working, often to tight deadlines, and handling multiple simultaneous requests, prioritizing the workload to suit.
  • Excellent MS Office skills
  • Salesforce CRM experience
  • Experience in Commercial or legal documentation creation
  • Experience and knowledge of cloud computing environments
  • Good understanding of accounting concepts related to P&L and balance sheet
  • Demonstrated sophisticated skills in business modelling and valuation
  • Experience in conducting and coordinating financial and legal due diligence
