Benary is a leading research organization specializing in plant biotechnology and crop improvement. We are seeking a highly
motivated and skilled Research Scientist with expertise in plant tissue culture to join our dynamic team.
Your tasks:
• Perform hands-on bench work and conduct cutting-edge research in plant tissue culture techniques,
- Design and execute experiments to optimize plant tissue culture protocols for the production of
- Develop and implement novel methods to improve the efficiency and success rate of tissue culture processes
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to contribute to the development of innovative solutions for plant
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in plant tissue culture research and contribute to scientific
- As part of our future research directions, there may be opportunities to explore phytopathology screenings
and genetic transformation techniques for crop improvement, based on company priorities and project needs
• Minimum M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Plant Sciences, Plant Biotechnology, Horticulture, or a related field
- Strong expertise and hands-on experience in plant tissue culture techniques
- Proficiency in sterile laboratory practices and aseptic technique
- Knowledge of plant physiology, genetics, and molecular biology
- Proficient in experimental design, statistical analysis and data interpretation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Demonstrated track record of scientific publications and presentations is a bonus
