Research Scientist (f/m/d)
Cell Therapy/Drug Development Biologics
Full-time and permanent
Your key responsibilities:
- Transfer of development candidates into drug development in compliance with the requirements for cell and gene therapy (ATMP´s)
- Responsibility for regulatory compliance with ICH and EU-GMP, cGMP and GMP for ATMP as required
- Focus on quality attributes, quality risk assessment and analytical testing strategy of drug candidates ready for tech transfer into clinical manufacturing
- Establishment of internal guidance, training and contribution to SOPs in cooperation with Quality Assurance covering late development
- Close interaction with development teams, Senior Scientists and project management, global quality team
- Support in establishing development plan for therapeutic candidate
- Support of Senior Management
Your ideal qualifications:
- A PhD degree or equivalent in biology or another relevant field and a few years of work experience
- Experience in the field of drug development (biologics and/or cell-and-gene-therapy)
- Background in Pharmaceutical development for late phase development stage and early clinical stage biologics, preferably cell therapy (ATMP)
- Knowledge in GMP for Biologics (preferably ATMP) and IMP production
- Knowledge of applying standards and guidelines acc. to ICH and EU guidelines, FDA experience is welcome
- High degree of initiative and flexibility, with the ability to work under challenging timelines
- Excellent communication skills with ability to interact professionally with all levels of staff, collaborators, and customers
- Fluency in written and spoken business English is necessary
