The Department of Internal Medicine V of Heidelberg University Hospital is a leading center for research in hematology and oncology. The location of Heidelberg offers state-of-the-art infrastructure in a highly collaborative environment (NCT, DKFZ and EMBL Heidelberg).
Your Tasks
- Responsible planning and performing of experiments in the framework of the scientific project plan (multiomics single-cell approaches, proteogenomics, in vitro assays)
- Support of bioinformatics analysis and clinically focused interpretation of multiomics data sets
- Responsible collaboration and communication with project partners
- Instruction of technical assistants
- Preparation and presentation of project reports and publications
Your Profil
- PhD degree in life sciences
- Broad expertise in the field of molecular biology
- Enthusiasm for science
- Experience and skills in bioinformatics tools and programming language R or Python are preferred
- Team spirit, creativity, flexibility, reliability, strong commitment, ability to think and work independently in a collaborative environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and a track record of collaborative work in multidisciplinary research environments
- Mastery of written and spoken German and English
