Help Desk Support Specialist

Key Role:

Provide support to users for software problems. Take calls from users, diagnose problems, and recommend and implement solutions. Leverage basic principles, theories, and concepts for job assignments. Exhibit technical and operational proficiency in solving problems of moderate complexity. Contribute to the completion of projects and programs. Interface with internal and external customers.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience with customer or technical support
  • Experience with custom off the shelf (COTS) tools, including
  • Point, Content Server, or Documentum
  • Knowledge of Business Process Management (BPM) tools and their purpose
  • Ability to work independently on projects and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

  • Possession of excellent client service skills
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $52,100.00 to $119,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
