About our client:
Our client is an AI research and application company in the IT Service & Consulting sector who is looking for a Accounting Manager, who will support the team and the Head of Controlling with their growth.

This position is responsible for maintaining and controlling all accounting activities of the company, in
particular accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, payments, banks and travel expenses.
The Accounting Manager is further responsible for the reconciliation of P+L and balance sheet items.
Specific responsibilities include an active collaboration with the external accountant (in order to
produce accurate and timely financial reporting information) and support management and other
departments on accounting and administration related issues.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Organise accounts Payable process and payments, cash control
  • Organise accounts receivable process: Billing and collection, reconciliation of payments
  • B/S and P/L reconciliation, accruals and provisions
  • Month-end closing activities and reporting
  • Year-end annual accounts closing process and audit coordination
  • Data quality responsibilities
  • General administration work
  • Contact & support for external service providers and internal functions
  • Collaboration in external audits and internal control processes


  • Academic degree related to Finance/Accounting
  • At least 3 years work experience in accounting, audit, tax advisory
  • Flexibility and ability to cover a broad range of finance tasks
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • GAAP and tax knowledge
  • Diligent, detail oriented, autonomous
  • Good level of English
  • Proactive, analytical, problem solving, self-motivated, strong organisational skills
