You only get benefits after working there full time for 6 months. As a part time employee I never got a benefits package.
Best part is the staff discount which is forty percent off your meal including yourself and 3 other people- very generous.
40% off discount all food for you and up to 3 other guests.
You get tips, but no benefits, pretty standard for a serving job
As a full time employee, there are no benefits aside from the discount on meals for you and three other people.
there are no benefits unless you are high up in management
"above average" employee discount rate is the only one worth mentioning.
The work schedules and hours for Host/Hostess position are most likely the worst in the industry. Despite opening hour of 5pm, working as a hostess hours entirely depends on how busy the night gets. Appearance is obviously important – fortunately the dress code is simple, but it is frustrating when I take an hour or so getting ready for work then to be sent home literally in 45minutes. Unless you're scheduled to close, don't be surprised to have an hour or two of shifts. Yes, it is illegal. Not sure how they pulled it off but I hope it's different now. I rated 4/5 solely on the discount. I believe it was either 40 or 50% off on everything, so I rarely went home empty-handed. Apply for a server or bartender position. Steaks aren't cheap, so tips are usually more than expected.
if you work full time you get full benefits
