Very flexible working patterns, with the opportunity to work from home a couple of days a week. The company is putting a lot of emphasis on modern ways of working and there is support from the top for this, which means work/life balance is strong. It also very common for people to have secondments in other teams, to help them grow and develop.
Benefits include 33 days off, 6 months off paternity leave, 5 days off sick without notice, enrolment in USS pension scheme. Overall pay quite low compared to private sector. Lots of sickness allowance and cover for sick leaves.
The salary is reasonable. Study package is not included but they provide apprenticeship.
Very small store however they are very flexible in regards to holidays. Good experience for young people who would like to volunteer.
Work-life balance and office location
Decent holiday and car allowance, no bonus )understandable as it’s a charity) and salary was decent.
I was only a volunteer so cannot comment on this in full. I had a very positive experience and will definitely return when I have the chance.
There are no benefits packages. Do not expect any whatsoever, but that is the norm for an industry such as this
Low pay as its charity, but flexi working
Very few perks, but amazing work life balance and flexibility
