Verisk: Bewerbungsprozess und Vorstellungsgespräch

I interviewed with Verisk in June of this year, and I must say that my experience was quite disappointing. After putting in time and effort to prepare for the interview and going through the process, I was left hanging with no response. I followed up twice in the weeks following the interview, hoping for some feedback or at least an acknowledgment of my effort, but there was no response. This lack of communication is not only unprofessional but also extremely discouraging for job seekers. While I understand that not every candidate can be selected, a simple email or call to inform me of their decision would have been greatly appreciated. It's important for companies to treat candidates with respect and courtesy throughout the hiring process, and unfortunately, Verisk fell short in this regard. I hope that Verisk can improve its communication with candidates in the future, as a more transparent and respectful approach to the hiring process would certainly enhance its reputation in the eyes of potential employees.

The interview started with my introduction , however straight after my introduction, it was all about asking me for a justification for the relevant experience rather than starting the interview with the company introduction , didn’t feel like I was interviewing with the company that honored with the best work culture. I was rejected for the reason having more experience on the development side whereas the role required only administration and troubleshooting experience.

After submitting an application for the position, I was later contacted for an interview with two hiring managers. There wasn't anything in the interview that were out of ordinary. However, after going through an interview in July, I didn't hear back until September that the position has been put on hold. I took out time out of my schedule to interview for this position, and I find it unprofessional to be told later that this position has been put on hold. I wish that the decision has been made earlier or at least I wish I was told about the position being put on hold shortly after my initial interview.

1.I first received a phone screen with HR which took around 15 minutes 2. 3 days later I did a group panel interview on ZOOM with 2 people which took around 1 hour *No skill test is needed

Met with director 1 on 1 and then with company CEO virtually. Met team and discussed role and what the company does. Described my vision and took an engineering test

Handled very professionally, multiple stages including an immersive & interesting assessment centre which includes teamwork, a technical test & a presentation, culminating in a final interview with the hiring manager. Very friendly recruitment team.

Recruiter phone screen followed by a group interview. The process described was several rounds long and included a presentation. The group interview was not an interview; it was an interrogation. A good interview is an exchange of information but unfortunately, I was not provided time to ask questions or get a better understanding of the role or the culture of the company. Additionally, the budgeted salary was drastically low for the industry and the area. Seemed like a lot of stress for 5-6 rounds of interviews, an unpaid homework assignment, and a comically low salary in one of the most expensive metros in the US.

Such a long process with several steps. It took longer than 3 weeks. 2 rounds, first one was online assessment then a 2.5 hours interview with 3 managers asking mainly OOP, Time complexity, BitWise, System Design, Testing. Interviews was really long and tough

I applied online. Initial screening call from recruiter. After that informal interview with one of the Manger. Hacker rank test. Final technical interview with lead. After on month they responded that not selected. No feedback about the interview.
