Called for competency based written exam. There were a number of questions and subsections to the questions. It was challenging - mainly on timing. Make sure to read and digest the series of questions, and allocate times before starting.

I applied for the job in June and was invited to complete an online test in September to answer three theory-related questions in one hour. The design of the online test platform was not user-friendly - it was very difficult to type into the tiny box and the time allocated was not really long enough to answer in any depth. I was invited for a Skype interview in November. There were technical problems at the UN in New York and the interview had to be postponed until later that day; a telephone interview was conducted instead. I found this much harder as I could not see the three people on the panel and as a result, I felt I did not answer the questions as well as a could. There were three people on the panel and they were pleasant and I felt fairly relaxed. Two months later, I received an email to say congratulations I didn't get the job but had been placed on the roster. One year later, I have not heard anything about any potential jobs.
