HUGE waste of time. The first interview round had a fair amount of downright rude questions, and wasn't conducted by anyone from PagerDuty itself but with a staff augmentation company, which raised some concerns about the process. After this, I was sent an assignment regarding NPS and bucket categorization, delivered it thoroughly and was invited to a second interview. This second interview was supposed to have 3 interviewers attending. They initially rescheduled it, and then they just didn't show up. No one from PagerDuty or the staff augmentation company reached out to me to offer an explanation or rescheduling, I had to contact the staff augmentation company myself, which decided to reschedule the interview. The second interview finally took place and only one of the interviewers attended. From the very beginning they seemed very uninterested, almost to the point of looking dead inside, and just asked regular questions to get out of the interview as soon as possible. They said I would be hearing from the staff augmentation company soon, which didn't happen for a long time. After doing some research and finding out the company CEO compared themselves to MLK while laying their employees off, I was done with this company. Not only this, but the main reason they were hiring in my geography is because they laid those people off.
- 1st: Why should we hire you? Why do you want to leave your current job? (I have no idea why they automatically assumed this) 2nd: Why do you want to work here? Do you liaison with multiple teams in your current position? Do you manage reports and spreadsheets in your current position and for which purposes? (The question was more or less this, but they phrased it weirdly)

Interview itself was fairly standard for this role. The recruiter cancelled their interview with me twice; both times 10-20 minutes before the interview. Just seems like they don't really have their stuff together. Fast forward two weeks, the initial phone screen actually happened without any sort of remorse for cancelling minutes before twice; however their rejection was issued quickly (only fast part about the process) Over all, I would not recommend.
