It's been a great experience at Nuance. It took a month to get an offer and I happily accepted. Total interviews: 4 1. First F2F interview - It was kind of screening (Technical + Management) 2. Second F2F Interview: it was difficult and to the point. A senior manager (who was visiting Pune office, took this round). All scenario based questions. Questions were relevant and based on the profile/competence they were looking for. 3. Third interview via Video Conference at Nuance office- this was with senior director from US. Again relevant and scenario based questions (A mix of technical and management question). This interview was relatively difficult than the first two. 4. HR interview: Again some scenarios based questions and discussion about what's, why and how and benefits. The expectation etc.. 5. HR contacted to discuss the offer. 6. I accepted the offer. 7. I look forward to join now!! What I liked about the process is the people and the respect with which they deal with people. The culture looks good. The office facility is very good. My impression is: This looks to be a great place to work for!!
- All scenario based questions!!
Anonymer Bewerber im Vorstellungsgespräch in Burlington, MA
Ich habe mich online beworben. Der Vorgang dauerte 3 Wochen. Vorstellungsgespräch absolviert im März 2013 bei Nuance (Burlington, MA)
Had an initial phone screening with HR and the hiring manager. This led to a first round of on site interviews with the hiring manager, lead architect and peer managers. Interview process was straightforward as they asked a lot of typical questions related to past experience. The architect had me draw out the architecture of current solution I was managing and asked why I did things certain ways. This led to a second round with some of the same people and some newer higher up people. A lot asked the same questions either from before or (where they wanted more detailed answers) or from person to person (definitely didn't have a defined plan between the managers). Had one final on site interview (the 3rd) and then never got a definite yes or no. Kept following up with HR with a we'll know more next week. Additionally, was told 2x that it would be the final step in the interview process when it wasn't.
- Most unexpected question was because a number of people asked it so it made me wary about the environment. Asked if given the opportunity in a meeting would I speak up during a meeting if I disagreed with views or would I be quiet and follow up later. Since it was asked a few times and the fact they said a lot of communication is done through email seemed like an issue.
