Depending on the position, you may be asked to complete a technical assessment or task to evaluate your skills and abilities. This could be a coding challenge, case study, portfolio review, or other relevant assignment.

I had 2 rounds of interviews, 1 hour each with the Founders. It was great to meet the Founders and also learn about Instamojo's culture and their mission. The interviews were straightforward - mostly behavioral, situation based questions to gauge the product thinking skills, process driven approach and tactical strategy.

Three calls of an hour each with diff Engg vertical heads. After the last interview , they told that they will get back to me. I mailed and asked after a week and was told of a reply by EoD. I mailed after another week and got the same response. After another week , the company just stopped responding to my calls or mails altogether.

They had 2 rounds. 1. Technical round - Resume Scanning and asking to describe all the projects done. Few basic/advanced SQL questions 2. Business round - Case studies that was already solved in my present company and asking questions on top that if this/that was not in the data, how would I have approached this problem? Deep diving to the utmost level that one can. ***Important*** Post 3 days of my interview, they said that the panel is really impressed by my profile and skills and asked for my salary slips. But they were shocked at my expectations( that was 30% more than my present salary) because it was too much for them to give, might be a case of budget issue. They told me they would come as close to my expectations but not exactly the salary which I wanted. This could have been clarified prior interview with me, when I initially told them about my expectations before the interview, but at that time they didn't say a thing. Post 10days when i followed up with them for Offer letter(FYI: I have followed up with them for every single day but there was hardly any response) , they denied by saying that "There is some restructing happening here and hence all positions have gone hold as of now. For atleast two weeks. We would be able to roll out offer only after that" After two weeks, when i asked them about the update, they told me "It's going to take more time...... I foresee us resuming recruitment only next quarter" This was a very bad experience for me as I had invested my time in the interview process but had no result. Probably, it was due to budget but that should have clarified by the HR prior or post interview. Rather than that, they gave the reasons of restructing. I never received the offer till date. Suggestions to candidates applying for analytics roles, kindly make sure that the company will be able to pay you according to your expecatations because the HR doesn't do that.

1 screening round on hackerrank. 2 rounds of technical interviews followed by a HR round. Being a startup they wont extremely talented people in their core, so they will ask a lot about DSA, and System Design.

They kept us waiting for more than 9 hours just to tell that we cannot take interviews of 40 students which are selected by the company, we'll take interviews of only 14 people

First round: Telephone round with one of the engineers. The questions were mostly based on previous work experience and technologies related to them. Since I worked on authentication there were questions related to digital signature, authentication/authorization and encryption. There were questions related to Kafka, how partitions work, internals of partitioning, how commits work, etc Second round: Second round happened a couple of days after the first round, at the Instamojo office, Koramangala. The interview was with one of the co-founders. Apart from questions based on previous experiences I was asked to design a system like Uber/OLA. The questions asked w.r.t the design round was more concrete and thoughtful. Focus was on scalability and logic/algorithms behind listing and booking cabs. The offer was released the very next day. You would even receive gifts before joining. You would also get chance to visit the office before joining to know more about the product, company and the work culture.

Applied online through Instahyre. Got an email and phone call from HR after 2 days. First Round of Interview is on Phone call and then Face to Face Interview a day later at Instamojo HQ in Bengaluru

I had 3 rounds of interviews. 2 of them were technical, though they touched upon a lot of cultural aspects as well. The final round was personal and HR related. On the whole, it was a good experience where I got to learn a bit and also get to know them better.
