Was contacted a week after I applied via email for a phone interview. The following week I got an email inviting me to attend a in-house interview. Currently waiting to attend the in-house interview.

I am looking for a new job and I initially applied for the position through their website. It claimed that the position could be applied using my LinkedIn profile, but the fact is you have to complete a whole form through their system and you can also optionally submit your portfolio/cover letter. Ended up taking me longer than what I've expected for the application. I thought I would have to wait longer before getting any reply, but they have scheduled for a phone interview on the next day after my application. They actually arranged the interview 30 minutes earlier than my actual available slot, which I've decided to accept as I've suggested my lunch hours. I have got invited to the office for a second interview despite performing rather poorly out of nervousness, but ultimately I still failed to pass the 2nd interview (with 2 team leaders from the department) so that's the end of my story. Originally I should be seeing their APAC manager after job shadowing on the same day, but the manager wasn't available. Everyone seem to be very busy with their work, and people actually walked fast even within the office - so you can actually see how high efficiency will be expected. Fast-paced environment, and many tasks would have to be performed at the same time. People were friendly and they seem passionate with their job. Still a nice experience to visit their office.

The process took 3 weeks. I applied through the company website (for the Italian speaker position), in the end of july, and they called me back, the after day to plan a phone interview. The phone interview was quite easy and they asked me simple questions , such as: what do you know about Bloomberg, the competitors, the clients, the role, and questions about myself ( introduce yourself, my strength, my weakness). The phone interview took 30 minute. After 4-5 days they e-mail me that they would like to meet me personally. I gave the dates to go to London, I paid by myself the flight (It was really expensive, because of the summer time) and I had the house interview. They asked me lots of things, but simple, as the phone interview. Questions: Do you feel more leader or support? How would handle an angry customers? why you choose Bloomberg? An example of when I've been a support to my co- workers.

The interview process was quite fast. I got a phone call interview asking me the general questions like why this role and why bloomberg, and got a second round interview immediately after the phone interview. The second round was a language assessment, testing my mandarin level, and quickly got into the final round meeting the head of the department. The questions they asked were quite repetitive. Some of the questions they ask again and again without realizing they actually meant the same thing.....

firstly, introduction of company with three people group, and then general question, shadow session, group interview, two round individual roleplay. after one week,it will have a phone interview through HR manager of asia pacific.

The process took about 3 weeks. The questions are pretty much alike other people described. I ended up being interviewed by 4 different people. First, I shadowed someone for around 30 minutes. Then, there was an interview with two people and after, a 1 on 1 interview. I have no idea what did I do wrong, I really thought I went well because they said I went well after the interview, and my hopes were really high. The next day I received an automatic e-mail stating I was not selected for the position, without any piece of feedback. Thus, it is really hard to give advice.

Long process, had to chase so many times their HR Dept. for an update. 1st interview with HR over the phone, very easy. Past experience, why Bloomberg, knowledge of the company. 2nd and 3rd with Customer Support Supervisors. Not difficult but they looked not interested at all. If they like you is not because of you did a good interview.

I applied for this position twice with an interval of about 9 months through their website and both times got invitations for a phone interview. Same recruiter called me and asked me the same questions. The real shame is she did not even bother to look at my updated resumes and I had a feeling that she was asking me questions based on my formerly submitted ones. That recruiter really knows how to make you feel confused and does not listen to what you say once you say something different from what they expect. They interview both in English and Japanese.

Because i didn't answer the phone they sent me an email to ask if they could phone tomorrow morning. In next day a lady phone me from the company and then she introduced herself and said what they were looking for, after giving a breve introduction of the company. she asked me questions such like: - Tell me about yourself: - Why did you apply for this position and Bloomberg? - What do you know about Bloomberg?l - What I know about the platinum service? - Do you have experience in customer service? - Who are our competitor? She was nice and after each answer she stayed quiet like she was getting some notes or maybe expecting me to speak more. I didn't get the job maybe because I was really nervous when i was giving the answers...
