Fragen aus Vorstellungsgesprächen für Project engineer, von Bewerbern geteilt
They asked me just some basic questions for namesake- Like what do i do in my current company, what have I done in my previous job etc.
Dear applicant, We have read your feedback on glassdoor regarding a short get-together you had with representatives of Lahmeyer International on a recruiting day in Cologne while having lunch. We regret very much that you got the impression that foreign nationalities are not welcome in our company. As you can see from our webpage our projects take place mainly abroad in Russia and CIS, Central Asia, Middle East, Turkey and East Africa. About 10% of our engineers in Bad Vilbel are non-Germans and are highly appreciated in our international projects. In our headquarters we employ more than 30 foreign nationalities with a variety of skin colours. The get-together during lunch most probably did not give you enough opportunity to explain all your qualifications. Therefore, we would like to invite you to a face to face interview in our headquarters in Bad Vilbel. From our side we will point out the competencies we need according to our customers’ requirements. As we are an independent provider for engineering services our focus is on offering suitable knowhow to our customers. Finally, both sides should have a full picture of each other and should be able to decide how to proceed. We kindly ask you to get in touch with us. Please send an email to email@example.com with your contact details. Please suggest a selection of dates when it will be convenient for you to meet up with us at our headquarters in Bad Vilbel. We are looking forward to hearing back from you soon. Best regards, Cornelia Peters
Dear Ms.Peters, I read your reply. Unfortunately I personally had a very different and a bad experience even though your statistics might suggest a different picture. Though I appreciate your efforts at replying back, unfortunately I am no more interested in any opportunities in Lahmeyer. Nevertheless, I wish you and the company all the best for future.
