In so einem Unternehmen möchte man nicht arbeiten.
Das einzige Positive - die Mitarbeiter im Office (Frankfurt) waren nett und freundlich.

Erst wird man telefonisch kontaktiert. Der nächste Schritt ist ein Online-Test mit fachlichen Fragen und dannach schafft es man mit etwas Glück zum persönlichen Kennenlernen.

Ich habe mich aber zurückgezogen schon beim telefonischen Gespräch - ihre Gehaltsvorstellungen sind mehr als lächerlich. Sie wollen jemanden einstellen der ziemlich gut ist, sind aber bereit dafür nur 30.000€/Jahr zu bezahlen ?!

Initial communication was by HR via mail informing shortlisting of my candidature which was followed by a telephonic HR round- this was very basic- tell.me.about urself, why did u leave ur previous job? What kind of clients have you worked upon? This was followed by a online test containing questions related to financials and competitors.
I got mail next day for a telephonic round with a senior credit analyst. So this round had technical questions related to work . Within next two days, I got a call for face to face final interview with senior credit analysts and credit head.
This was mix of technical questions and standard interview questions. It also had board diagram
So in total I had 4 rounds- telephonic round by HR followed by online test then telephonic round with senior credit analyst and final face to face interview. The overall process n communication was quite fast.

I applied online, the entire interview process lasted 2 1/2 weeks. The interview process was split up into 1 phone call and 3 video interviews lasting from 30 minutes to an hour each.

The entire process felt smooth, where helpful feedback was provided between each stage in preparation for the next. I was also usually notified where I was positioned in the interview process within 2-3 days which was very useful. Overall, my entire interview experience was that of a positive and pleasant one.

In interviews were done to understand my experience & how I would link that in with this role.

Quite smooth at first with the usual telephone interview and technical test. The final interview was quite a lengthy one and quite confusing consisting of nearly 4 hours with two sets of developers asking the same questions so you end up saying the same stuff to the two sets of developers.

First round of final stage interviews was ok talking about how you found the technical test and why you made the decisions you did. They asked me to make a change to the functionality on the spot which kind of takes you out of the interview mindset and straight into problem solving, logical and conceptual thinking mindset straight away.

The second round of final stage interviews was a culture fit and competency based interview which seemed a little over the top for a mid weight front end developer role. A white board session included where broads questions are thrown at you to see how you handle them and a deep dive into your experience and personal choices of technology and why on certain projects.

At the end it seemed very unorganised because there was no feedback, so I guess I wasn’t a good culture fit.

Was interviewed by the (Lead designer (Video call). The video call connection was poor (hanged a few times) and I was not able to understand some parts of the conversation. The negative point is I did not get any response afterwards. After waiting for 3- 4 weeks I wrote an email asking for the feedback.

The interview process consisted of a brief, pretty traditional phone interview with the recruiter, followed by a one hour online assessment designed to test technical credit knowledge. The next stage was an in-person interview with two members of the credit group, focused on both technical credit knowledge and fit. The final round of interviews included two shorter interviews with the Head of Credit Risk (knowledge-focused) and with additional members of the credit team (more fit-focused).

Though I ultimately accepted a different offer, the interview process with iwoca was the best I experienced during my search. It progressed quickly and on the promised schedule, iwoca was flexible enough to accommodate my timeline for deciding on another offer, iwoca was transparent about the process, and they were forthcoming in providing information about the company in order to help me fully evaluate the offer. I ultimately chose another offer based on the job role, but was left with a very positive impression of iwoca as a result of my interview experience.

Phone screening with an HR person in charge of recruitment and on boarding.
Quick 30 minute phone interview with the head of engineering asking technical questions + opportunity for the candidate to ask questions.
Final interview on site during 2.5 hours. First technical questions about Python and backend development with other backend engineers. Then another technical interview with the head of engineering and a senior engineer about architecture and backend infrastructure.

After an initial call with one of Iwoca's internal recruiters, I went for a face-to-face interview with two team members. Following this, I had an assignment to do in my own time. I then came back for a final face-to-face with several team members to discuss the assignment, and some other pieces.

Importantly, they told me the assignment would not be used by the company - so that I wasn't doing any work for them for free during this process. I thought this was a nice touch, and I felt that every single person I interacted with was very friendly and professional.
