    The interview process was well organized. It started with a phone call from HR. They asked basic info such as previous work, current job and expected salary. Then, the hiring manager called me and spoke of the position. He was cordial and professional. Explained about the job and asked about my prior experience. Then, he gave me a take-home Python problem to solve. Turned it in over a weekend. Had a talk with him once again. He asked basic Computer science questions. Then, an onsite interview was scheduled. It was for three quarters of a day, with 6 people interviewing me, all from engineers to QA director to company CTO. Everyone was cordial, treated me very professionally. By looking at the people, the work environment is great. The people are great too. Started by an MIT grad, the company thrives on quality in their products. Could see that in the outlook of its employees. Got the offer. But, didn't accept as the offered salary didn't work out for me. I would highly recommend this company regardless.

    I found the listing for the HR Analyst role on VentureFizz and applied after reading some good reviews about the culture and the products. Within a few business days the recruiter, Brandon, reached out to me to set up a phone call to talk over the position, which went well as he was pleasant and knowledgeable about the role and the company. After we had that call, he continued to manage the interview process and made me feel taken care of.

    After the call with Brandon I had another call with the hiring manager, the head of HR. We had a great conversation about the role, iZotope, and the vision for the department and how I fit into it in this role. I left the call with a great feeling. Not too long after we had an in person interview set up for me to come in about 3 weeks from when I applied, where I met with the Controller, HR Generalist, and again with the Head of HR. Everyone was very pleasant, and casual enough that I could tell this was an office where people could be themselves. All three interviews flowed more like natural conversations where I already felt valued, and the topics of which seemed to serve myself and the interviewing team in making decisions about the other. I also left this interview with a great feeling about the company and was excited to continue with next steps.

    The day after my interview I was contacted with positive feedback and an offer in the range I was looking for, and the process from there was smooth as it transitioned from the recruitment process to onboarding.

    Had preliminary screening with 2 recruiters and CTO before a round of on-site interviews. Talked to 7 people total on site, mostly in IT technical and leadership roles. Questions asked were of technical, leadership and management nature.

    I was given a tour of the facility, which was very impressive - company occupies great modern space with Cambridge vibe, seems to have nice startup atmosphere, employees looked happy. They also have awesome recording studio in the facility, used for testing company products. Kitchen/lounge area is spacey, kitchen has large selection of beverages (tea, coffee).

    Company culture seems to be very good, based on my preliminary assessment. I got and accepted an offer, looking forward to joining the team.

    Very thorough, 6+ hour interview series with a dozen people across the company. I actually interviewed for a different job at first. They flew me out, I went through the first day-long interview, they didn't select me for the first job. However, they felt I'd be a better fit for another need so I flew back out, interviewed again and got the offer. From first contact, everyone was very professional and quick to respond. I never felt like I was being "kept warm" or stringed along.

    Phone screen through HR to make sure you have a pulse and know english. Second phone screen was with one of their directors.

    During the HR screen they ask what you're salary requirements are. To my surprised they pay below industry averages for the Boston/Cambridge area. I'm talking 20k-40k below average. Dev Ops make a ton of money in this city and they clearly don't want to pay for it. If you're okay with below market rates (they offered me 80K when college grads easily make 90K in this city) you can go forward with the process or use this place as practice for another interview at another company.

    Phone conversation with the director was fine, I checked all his boxes and he seemed excited to move forward in the process.

    They wanted me to sign an NDA prior to coming in for an on-site interview. The NDA was too over encompassing for such terrible pay. I highly doubt they would have given me access to their entire code base or maybe the fact that you might see they someone's laptop for half a second actually warrants interviewers to sign an NDA that extend well beyond the hiring process.

    This is the first company in my entire career that had an interviewer sign an NDA. I felt insulted and passed on the company when they wouldn't revise to accommodate my concerns.

    Below average pay with sub par treatment of people who aren't employees is a terrible sign for a company looking to hire.

    Save the NDAs for the employees, not worth the hassle if you're looking for a job.

    Relatively short phone call with a manager building a new team for web dev. Do not feel the questions were particularly engaging nor had any concept of contemporary web QA technology, but more over vague questions on "how I felt" about JS and agile. Questions I asked regarding things like deployment process were left with empty answers on "building that process," leading me to believe there isn't much of a dedicated devops pipeline. Do not believe they were aiming for QA Automation in mind. Recruiter was neither particularly engaging nor responsive.
