It was nice with two rounds started with phone interview. Than they asked in person technical interview. After that a manager round. Once you clear both the round they will take you for hr round for final step

    Interview process at UHG India was quite an unconventional one. Their focus is majorly on applied skills rather than theoritical content. There were 2 rounds of interview with one being technical round and another being personality round. Both round went strictly adhering to their time limits (1 hour and another 45 mins respectively). UHG India is one of the nice place to work for in NCR region, however it is having consulting company like culture rather then having truly 100% subsidiary of parent organization. The reason for this most of their senior management is from Infosys.

    Verhandlungsdetails

    UHG didn't give much scope for negotiation for me. After insisting hard, they just introduced joining bonus to pacify me. The bad part of salary structure is variable part, which normally is 20%.

    Technical rounds are average also asked about how to manage team and the ITIL processes.

    Well qualified interviewers, queried on in-depth knowledge. Had a 1/1 technical round and then another technical round. Finally closed with Human Resources partners interview. Interview process was covering overall 360 degree processes and technical competencies.

    This position is for 10+ years of experience for java.spring,hibernate,oracle stuff. They asked me to come for face to face interview. But they conduct written test with one program. I wrote it. And they validated and called for next technical round face to face. Panel member asked some timepass questions by spending spending 5 to 10 minutes. By his way of questioning i understood he is just timepassing unless trying to check my technical skills. And asked me to wait outside. Other came and said you are not qualified and you can leave.
        After that, with some curiosity i went to the panel member and asked what is the feedback , how did you evaluate my profile by just asking below fresheres questions.

        4. write singleton program
        5. what is agile?

        And he didn't ask about the written test program what is wrong at the time of interview. I should have explained him if he asks about the program

          He said you have not written singleton properly and written test also not well. I asked what is wrong with the program, can we discuss on this if you are ok,then that inexpreinced guy said don't argue with me, I don't know why people think as argue when ever ask the discussion. It should be like what can we improve by this program and what is the other possible ways. There is no proper interview pattern in UHG or optum. I won't recommend spend time going there for this time pass questions.a
