Bewerbung

Ich habe mich auf Empfehlung eines Mitarbeiters beworben. Der Vorgang dauerte mehr als 2 Wochen. Vorstellungsgespräch absolviert im August 2015 bei TriNet.

Vorstellungsgespräch

My first interview was seamless. The area manager was awesome and he was impressed by me. The subsequent interview with the regional manager was unstructured but ridiculous. He asked questions prying into my personal life.

My Area Manager & I really fit well, however the Regional Manager & I clashed over the phone. He really wasn't a big fan of mine and expressed concerns to me when I asked him for feedback. Good lessons learned. Ultimately the area manager fought for me and I was offered the job. I'm very grateful for the opportunity and it was a wonderful decision to join TriNet.

The process was very positive. Everyone made me feel like an employee they wanted to have on their team, and that based on what I said, kept wanting me to move forward. They were encouraging and really made me feel like I was the one being recruited vs the one that had to convince them they needed to hire me. I liked everyone that I interviewed with, and still do to this day!

Recruiter setup first interview. First interview with Area Manager - went great thought that this was a great decision on my part and the first impression that you get from this guy is that you want to work for him. 2nd round of interview process (Peer to Peer) - opportunity to talk to people from the company and ask question to find out about the environment. Good in theory - Bad in process, my peer interview was with an Area VP in Manhattan that ran a totally different division then what I was interviewing for. The other interview came from a sales rep in Florida. After making it through that (which isn't hard) then you get your last chance to impress the Regional VP for the division that you are going to work for. This guy thinks that he is "God's gift to Interviewing and managing". he tasked me with a project in my interview and told me that he was going to eat lunch and he would be back in 15 minutes. In hind sight I should have written "Hey,I hope that you enjoyed your lunch. If you dont have time to spend with me throughout this interview then it can only be an indication that when I really need support you most likely will not be there! (sort of like this part of the interview) But the interview process is not hard just tell them what they want to hear. Key thing to remember is that all they care about is getting you off the phone or getting out of the room so that they can go back to micro-managing the other people who made the mistake of accepting their job offer.

    Fragen im Vorstellungsgespräch

    • None at all - Run through your resume and ask you a few of the basics - Tough challenge, how did you deal or work through it blah blah blah - It was like they pulled up a few interviewing processes online before they walked into the room.   Frage beantworten

Nothing I got a call from the guy who sends out the offer letters and he basically said take it or leave it.
