Stylight: Bewerbungsprozess und Vorstellungsgespräch

Got an invitation for an interview/ screening. Then, an hour before the scheduled meeting, I got another email that I was no longer being considered. They could have sent this way earlier but left it till the dying minutes. I believe I dodged the bullet. They could have asked to invest time in some useless code challenge, only to pull the plug later. No hard feelings. Just sharing my experience

I applied online. 1st interview was with hr. He sent me a technical challenge. I had to complete in the next 2-3 days. I got an invitation for the next technical round after 3-4 days. In the technical interview, we mostly discussed the approach that I used in the technical challenge. After following up multiple times, I got an invitation 10 days later for a management interview with the CEO & VP. This was a little weird to me that the CEO & VP is taking management interview. Finally after 4 days, rejection email came.

Hired through a friend, they sent a technical task that took about 1 day to complete. After the task, they rejected giving the excuse of having too many qualified applicants.

I did the pre-interview process for 15 minutes, passed this round, then the HR sent me the task, and after I completed the task, the HR said I passed to another round and I got another chance to present my design to the visual designers. They loved my work and I passed to another round which was the main interview. 2 weeks later they told me I didn’t pass that round.

I got an invite from a recruiter for a short screening interview (15min). After 10 days I received a standard rejection email that I was not shortlisted for any further consideration. I responded immediately asking for more detailed feedback but I got no response. I followed up a couple of days later asking for feedback but again no response. My advice to the company: Instead of responding here on Glassdoor with a standardised response, try to respond to candidates emails instead. You will get less negative reviews from rejected candidates.

Hiring process is very bad!.. I applied for Java backend developer , and got a Task last weekend , I spent more that 14 hours on it then I got a refusal email without having any technical discussion regarding that .. this is very bad that company didn't respect the candidate. the hiring process was not transparence
