    Zuerst erfolgte ein Gespräch mit der Dame vom HR.
    Anschließend mit dem Head auf Finance.
    Danach noch ein Gespräch mit dem COO.
    Danach sollte noch ein Gespräch mit den Team membern erfolgen.
    Doch das Gespräch mit den Team Membern erfolgte nie. Da diese immer wieder krank und verreist waren. Doch war das meines erachtens ein Vorwand, da es sich immer wieder um dieselbe Person handelte, die im Urlaub gewesen ist und dann wieder krank war. Zudem wurde immer wieder gesagt, dass die Grippesaison das ganze Team erwischt hätte. Auf Anfragen wurde immer der gleiche Vorwand genannt. Am Ende erhielt ich nur eine Email in der stand, dass es zu einem Personalwechsel kam und das ich nicht mehr berücksichtigt werden würde für diese Stelle.

    I applied via LinkedIn and within couple of days I received a call from recruitment team. During this call we had discussion about my current status, availability and expectation, I was also explained about the organisational structure, benefits, and further interview process. Next day I received a technical assignment which I was supposed to complete within few days. Two weeks after I submitted my solution, I received another call informing that I am shortlisted for another round of interview, this was a video conversation interview with Product Manager and it was a discussion on the work which I have done previously. Also I got to know more about the team, work culture and their expectations from me.

    Second interview was another video conversation interviews with COO. This round was a technical plus managerial round where I was also briefed about the technical aspects of my role and there were questions and open discussions on technology which I have already worked with.

    After clearing the second interview I was supposed to visit the Company’s office to meet the team and attend last rounds of interview, but due to Covid situation those discussions and interactions happened online on video-conference. In total there were three rounds of discussion happened on the same day back-to-back with some breaks in between. First was a thorough discussion with COO on test automation tools and technologies, and their analysis. This was quality, in-depth technical discussion where we also exchanged our opinions on various technologies. Another round was the interaction with the team members where I got know them individually and what different technologies they are working on etc.Last round of interview was with Head of development, which was also a discussion on other technical areas which I have worked with. Though these discussions and interactions were on video conference but I felt as if I am already part of the team as there were sharing of thought and opinions, and I felt very welcoming and comfortable interacting with each and everyone. After this, the offer was released the next day itself, which I happily accepted.

    The whole process took close to a month and half but it went very smooth and I really appreciate the way HR team had coordinated and kept me posted for the further steps, they were very prompt answering the queries and replying to mails. Another thing which I find really satisfying was the the keenness of the team in technology ,level of technical discussions and their welcoming nature.

    The interview process consisted of 4 steps:
    - initial call with hiring manager (30 min)
    - 3 hour technical case
    - 1 hour phone call with HR
    - final discussion with hiring manager

    I completed the first two steps and received very positive feedback from the hiring manager, telling me he was very excited to get me on board. After my phone call with HR, however, I was extremely turned off by the company and decided to stop the interview process. Two aspects which resulted in this were:

    - When submitting my application, I wrote down my potential start date. During the call with HR (after the initial call with the hiring manager and the 3 hour case), the HR manager seemed to notice this date for the first time, and told me it wouldn't be a good fit.

    - I asked the HR manager about the possibility of working from home on occasion. She told me the company has a strict policy against working from home because it's difficult for managers to know what their employees are doing. She continued, stating that it's very important that those in "lower positions" remain available all day in case someone in management, or "higher up", has a question. She finished this by saying that it is unacceptable to let those who are "above me" waiting for too long.

    I wish I had had this conversation with HR before completing the 3 hour case study. I immediately decided to stop the application process.

    Applied online, after few weeks had my first HR interview, received a remote task to do and submit it, since I liked the project and company and received no answer I followed it up, but no answer. After one more moth, a new HR contacted me and wanted to continue the process and we setup a new talk. During the talk HR seems to not be very prepared & asked me to define the role and its requirements.
    After few weeks, got rejected, reason: my salary expectation is above their budget. (salary was mentioned clearly in the 1st talk)

    Very poor process. I had only one call from HR and huge technical test. It was classic job front-end vacancy. In vacancy the specific libraries was not specified. Then I got technical task there was proposed use special libraries without which it was impossible to solve the problem quickly and efficiently. BTW task was very big. In result I spent time but didn't get any feedback and any recommendations, just a dry automatic rejection. Don't spend your time.

    I found the advert on Linked in and applied online which was a smooth and easy process.
    I received an email a few days after inviting me to a phone interview which is a great way for the first screening and to save time for both candidate and the employer. Lilly was great, friendly and I felt she was very sincere which is refreshing. A few days after I received an invite for a face to face interview with the MD in the office. They asked for my availability rather than given me a time and date which again I found very accommodating.

    The face to face interview I felt was more discovering about the person behind the CV, was very personable ( in a great way) and I left feeling very happy about how it went.

    I also had a chat with the NL office manager which was great as I was able to ask all my questions and get a real understanding of the role.

    I received an email quite quick after that face to face interview asking me to come in and meet the team. A great opportunity for them to get to know me and also to see if it would be a good fit for both the company and myself. This was great as the team is s friendly, intelligent and welcoming.

    A few days later I received phone call from the MD with a great competitive job offer followed up swiftly by an email stating the offer.

    From start to finish ( which only took a few weeks) a very smooth and efficient process with lovely personal touches. As a candidate I felt wanted, appreciated and respected throughout the whole process.
