The interview process is thorough and professional.

Here are the 4 phases of my experience:

Phone conversation with internal recruiter
In person interview with two managers - 30 minutes each
15 minute sales presentation (why your a good fit + sell a product) w/ four managers followed by 45 minutes of Q&A
30 minutes phone conversation with Director

The job is not for the faint-hearted, which is why they have such a thorough process. If you are truly passionate about sales/recruiting, and you like a competitive yet collaborative environment, I highly recommend going through the interview process. The people I interviewed with were supportive, kind, and intelligent.

I ended up finding a company that is a better fit for me, so I removed myself from the interview process. I was very impressed and pleased by the professional and understanding responses I received after withdrawing myself.

    Began with an obnoxious phone back and forth between me and talent acquisition. Online personality assessment (the same one I had to take when I applied to Panera in college). In-person interview with a couple of managers who have slots on their team. Final interview with a panel of whomever they can find to be present at that time to question you. You have to create a 10-minute presentation with the objective of selling yourself; if you have sales experience or recruitment experience, they’ll have you do a work sample. Beware: who sits your final interview will determine how it goes. And don’t worry about coming up with any genuine answers: the talent acquisition will tell you everything you need to say and it all boils down to “I’m motivated by money.” Talk about how much you love money and why and you’re set

    TA was helping me throughout the whole process making sure I was still interested. It was clear that my TA person really enjoyed their job and the company.

    The interview process at SThree is quite standard and time consuming. Initially, I was found through LinkedIn where one of the recruiters reached out to me with the opportunity to interview for the company. After exchanging information through LinkedIn I received a phone interview the next day which was also pretty basic questions. I was thrilled to find out that I was selected to continue the interview process and was called in to interview with two men who also asked regular questions about work history and natural characteristics. Within the same week the recruiter contacted me and informed me that I would have to endure one final interview with a senior manager and one other guy and prepare a PowerPoint presentation. After spending my weekend putting together a spectacular PowerPoint presentation I was greeted by two of the companies workers who informed me the senior manager would be joining us virtually; and he was late might I add. After the presentation there was a lot of questions asked and a mock phone screening. Then, out of nowhere the manager asked me to take on two customer calls.

    The interview process was extensive but thorough. The first step was a phone call intro then phone interview. The next step was an intense Q and A from the managers. They wanted specific situations where I showed I went above and beyond/was hard working/can really provide evidence I am good enough.

    Three rounds that included a phone interview, in person interview with the director and then a pitch with 4 senior leaders. It was relatively quick as they were looking to bring me in when others were starting. Interview as if you were interviewing for a sales role as recruiting for a third party is sales.

    The first interview I met with two people at separate times, overall it lasted about two hours. I was asked normal interview questions until towards the end of each individual interview. They asked me "why recruiting" about 7 different ways and never seemed quite satisfied with the answers given to them. I was told to "dig deep" and find "personal deep reasons" that I wanted to do this recruiting job and have my answer prepared for the second interview.
    The second interview was, first, another individual interview with the VP whom I had not previously met. Followed by a group interview with 4 people and then I was required to give a PowerPoint presentation to those people about why SThree should hire me and why I want SThree. I thought that these requirements were excessive for this company and this type/level of job. Towards the end of the interview I couldn't wait for it to be over because, again, I was asked "my why" over and over. After being told my qualifications meet all of the requirements and I would be good at the job, it became clear that "my why" was the only factor they were truly taking into consideration.

    The recruiter I dealt with was very professional and helpful. He gave me feedback during the interview process, critiqued my final presentation, and he didn't leave me hanging when it was time to let me know whether I was moving on in the process. I wish other companies were as honest with their candidates and also gave as much feedback as SThree because that's the only way to improve.

    I had four interviews - two phone interviews, a video interview, and a five-hour in-person interview consisting of a work sample, a presentation, and then a meeting with three hiring managers. The people I dealt with during the first three interviews were fair and asked legitimate questions that related to my ability to do the job at a high level.

    The issues I had with the company occurred during the final interview. One of the hiring managers showed up more than 40 minutes late for my presentation without giving any notice. The same hiring manager also did not apologize and also didn't care about my time. The interview also ran 90 minutes long, which was inconsiderate.

    The hiring managers did not care about my relevant skills and experience related to the job I applied for. Instead, they bullied and verbally harassed me for a half-hour on irrelevant things that had nothing to do with whether I'd be a good fit for the job. They claimed they were "putting me under pressure", but they were making personal attacks and were extremely unprofessional. The managers need to realize this is a job and that we are not pledging a fraternity.

    If you want a company that will treat you with respect and ask you fair questions during your job interview, I recommend you stay away from SThree. I read the negative reviews on the interview process before my first interview, and unfortunately they were accurate.

    Applied for position online. Almost immediately contacted for initial phone screening. Call lasted for about 15 minutes and consisted of basic questions regarding current role. After completing aptitude test I was brought in to meet with hiring managers about a role at Sthree. Final interview is a work sample and brief 10 minute presentation on why you are right for the position.
