    The first stage was a 30 minute phone call with the development manager. After that was an hour long call with the development manager and project architect. The conversation qas high level focusing more on technologies used and how they were applied.

    After applying, I had a brief phone interview with a recruiter, where he mostly just told me about the company and answered my questions. Then I got an invitation to do an IQ test and a personality test. After that, I was invited for an in-person interview with three people, which was pretty unorganized. First, I retook the IQ test, which is standard procedure for Vista companies. Then I spoke with the recruiter about benefits for a little while, and then had three back-to-back interviews. The people interviewing me didn't really seem to know the schedule, so my interview with one person would get interrupted by another person coming in the room. They also didn't ever offer me a chance to take a break or use the restroom in between the interviews, so it was about three hours of answering questions with no break. The people I interviewed with were very nice, but my brain was fried by the end. About two weeks after the in-person interview, I was rejected.

    First I had to fill out a personality test, then complete a few programming problems, pretty simple (both online). I was then contacted to be interviewed on-site, where I first had in-person interview. After one white board question, I was directed o a video conference room where I talked to a programmer who was located elsewhere. He mostly asked questions about my knowledge and past experience. A few weeks after my on-site interview, I received an e-mail that they weren't interested.

    I applied for an analyst position at PeopleAdmin sometime during February of 2017 via Monster.com. I received an invitation to speak with a recruiter over the phone that same month. Four-five days after speaking with said recruiter, I received an invitation to participate in over the phone interview with a manager at PeopleAdmin. I crossed this hurdle without issue, and was told that I would receive a call back shorty. I did not receive a call back for a about a month. About a month after conducting this over-the-phone interview with said manager, I received an email from a recruiter at PeopleAdmin asking me to come in for an interview. I agreed, and went to their main campus in Austin, TX. I retook the assessment test, and performed poorly I would assume. Shortly after retaking said assessment test, I was interviewed by two managers working at PeopleAdmin. The first manager was bearable in character; however, the second manager was as genuine as the artificial fruit you find on dining tables. She wore a fake smile that would disgust most people at first sight. Instead of asking questions regarding the position that I applied to, I took this time to vent. Luckily for me, I did not get an offer.

    Initial phone screen with standard questions. Then sent a link for a pretty difficult assessment, heavy on logic and math. NOTE: DON'T CHEAT BECAUSE THEY MAKE YOU TAKE THE ASSESSMENT AGAIN DURING YOUR ON-SITE INTERVIEW. First initial on-site interview with HR and managers with basic behavioral questions and discussions about the role. And then a follow up interview centered around a mock sales presentation to HR, managers, and a few others from the sales team.

    The hiring process was fairly straight forward and expanded into increasingly difficult scenarios that included: an initial phone screen, a technical phone screen, an afternoon onsite with the company (technical and cultural fit) and time with the team (another cultural test). The white-boarding sessions were fairly intense with quite a bit of discussion about best approaches even amongst the team which exposed some interesting personalities and differences on architectural approaches. The onsite took a better part of the afternoon and beyond the session with the dev team also included time with other departments. The company recruiter did an excellent job and made sure I knew what to expect throughout the process.

    PeopleAdmin had an extremely rigorous interview process:

    #1 - Phone screen with recruiter
    #2 - Online personality and IQ test
    #3 - Phone screen with hiring manager
    #4 - Repeat IQ test with recruiter monitoring via Skype
    #5 - Onsite interview with hiring manager
    #6 - Phone interview with offsite executive
    #7 - Onsite interview with entire C-Suite plus two presentations
    #8 - Onsite interview with CEO

    All of the above involved 10+ hours of onsite interviews over three different visits with their entire executive staff and took nearly three months, which was a large investment of both my time and theirs. Going through this very thorough process for a mid-senior level position is perfectly fine, however their lack of providing yes or no response on the position after all of that is not.
