Ich habe mich über eine Hochschule oder Universität beworben. Der Vorgang dauerte 2 Tage. Vorstellungsgespräch absolviert bei Mu Sigma.

    Vorstellungsgespräch

For our batch there were five rounds, first being Aptitude followed by Video synthesis, Problem solving, Group case study and finally interview.

Totally around 600 students attended for the placement.

    1. Aptitude Round:

The questions were basic and covered most of the topics in Quantitative Aptitude, Data Interpretation and Logical

Reasoning. Speed and accuracy are important in this round as there were negative marks.

It contains 15 questions with 1 mark for correct answer and -0.5 for wrong answer. Time given was 25 min.

(I attempted 14 questions out of which I am sure of 12 questions.)

After first round they have shortlisted around 400 students for the next round.

    2. Video Synthesis:

In this round they will show a 2 min clip of some random Hollywood movie for which you have to synthesise within 5 lines what you have understood from the video. You should write what the video depicts like moral values, message like that.

    3. Problem Solving:

This round involves a little of programming knowledge. But seriously am saying it is very easy. Even if we don’t know programming but understood the logic you can easily attempt this round.

Basically they will give you some data and a code based on the data for which you have to write the output based on what they ask.

After II and III rounds around 160 students were short listed.

    4. Group case study:

This time they mixed group discussion and case study and made it to group case study. Here the advantage is not to worry about the topics they give for GD. Because they will give you a case study of some business/company and you have to suggest your views.

(My case study was For Airtel telecom the number of customer care complaints has been increasing recently and thus operational cost to manage the customer care is increased. So why do you think the complaints are being increased and how can you reduce them? )

Valid points, confidence, speaking skills, eye contact and team work plays major role in this round.

After Group case study around 80-90 got shortlisted for interview

    5. Interview:

In interview they will be having your performance sheets of all the previous rounds. So they will see your performance in the previous rounds and your interview will be based on that. If you haven’t performed well in the previous rounds, then they will be asking some puzzles, guestimations, coding (for IT/CSE ppl) . If your scores in the previous rounds are good then they might wind up with some basic questions.

(For me they asked about recent happenings in flipkart for which I answered confidently as I had followed the current affairs well. And they have asked about hobbies, interests and all. That is all my interview. Not more than that.)

Finally they have selected 57 students from our batch.

First Round: MuApt - The toughest round, if you clear this round, rest should be manageable.
Second Round: Group Discussion - As long as you voice your opinions effectively and do not contradict yourself, you would be selected for the final round.
Third Round: Interview - Basic questions about experience with data analytics, questions about interests and achievements.

Ich habe mich über eine Hochschule oder Universität beworben. Vorstellungsgespräch absolviert im Juli 2019 bei Mu Sigma (Coimbatore (Indien)).

First, we had a MuApt test, after clearing that we had to attend gd and then technical and then hr round. MuApt was easy but the gd was completely different where we were expected to show our team skills. It also tested our problem-solving ability. Finally Technical was as usual questions based on my area of interest and hr was very general.
