Fairly easy if you are prepared, however, you have to go through way too many people. The good part is it's all over the phone. You have an initial phone interview with a recruiter on the east coast. If you get selected, s/he'll reach out to you for the next phase. This step, you will have to talk to three people that'll be part of the team. The last person I talked to wanted to see some artifacts to support some projects I worked on so I had to email it to her. I'm still waiting for the next step if I make it, and again it'll be another interview with another person.

Applied for the job and got contacted by Brooke 2-3 days later to set up a initial interview with her. After our conversation she confirmed me that I was a good fit and she would set up a phone interview with the Director of the team. The second interview was around 40 minutes, and mostly about my experience. He asked if I could potentially come up for an interview. The next day Brooke confirmed me that they wanted to bring me in for an in person the following werk. I was out of state so they offered to pay my expenses. But that they needed me to complete a logic/behavior assessment.
The in person interview consisted of 2-1 hour meetings. The first one was with the team and the second one was with a peer of the Director. I thought the first interview went great talking about my experience, the second one was more behavioral questions. I didn't do as great in my opinion but I got a call the next day to ask if I was interested. And got a written offer the day after. Got offered more than the range I provided and was able to ask for a week of non paid vacay for the holidays.

I found this job while browsing a job search engine and noticed that Unix skills were required. I applied online. The following Tuesday I got an email from a recruiter stating she wanted to discuss my career objectives. After speaking with her she arranged for a phone interview. That phone interview occurred two days later. The call was regarding the requisites for the role, etc... Before the conversation ended, I was invited to come to the office for an in-person interview later that day. I met with a manager and director. It was more behavioral and situational questions with some questions about my previous work experience. Before I left, the manager took me to the work area and gave to me a preview of the role; that lasted for about an hour. That weekend, I was asked to provide at least three references. The following Wednesday, the manager called me and asked if I was still interested. I accepted.

It was less than a week from interview to offer. My background check was completed within a week of the offer. The entire process took about two weeks.
