      First stage was a telephone discussion, second stage a 121 interview and 3rd stage a group assessment.
      The 3rd stage was where there are role play scenarios, Hays presentation from assessor, tour of office, write a job description and review 3 cvs and role play selling the candidates cv to a "client."
      It was great to do the assessment to really get to know the day to day life of a recruiter at Hays. It was also great to see that there is so much careers progression at Hays with everyone working there way up to Business Manager or higher.

      First you have a phone call asking in general questions about your current job

      Then on clearing it you proceed to one on one interview , again here check if you know the core values and how you can provide examples from your life that portray those core values. (look at their website you will find them there)

      If you clear all this then you proceed to Assessment center with say 6-10 ppl. Which has
      3 rounds - ( Only discussing this part below )
      Round 1 Presentation,
      Round 2 - 2 group role play
      Round 3 - 1 BDM call

      Very thorough process but very helpful in identifying weaknesses on a personal level. Group assessment was tricky but fun.

      the interview process was quiet long consisting of 3 stages. stage 1 is an interview with one of the directors with standard sales interview questions. 2nd stage was a presentation about the company to 2 of the managers and the 3 stage was a final interview with the manager of the section you would work under.

      I submitted my CV online and as i said in the advert I got a call and went straight into an on phone interview. So I would suggest do your homework on the company and the role before submitting your CV. Proceeded to the next round where I had a face to face interview with a small role play and asked how I would deal with certain situations.The next round was a Sales Assessment with a group of 8. Prior to the Assessment day we had been given different mock cv's, a company profile, and a Job outline. We had a video presentation about Hays and then asked questions about it and hays KNOW THE 4 CORE VALUES!! More role play followed so if you dont like role play I would suggest doing some research to relax you. Had a pretend call to a potential client and a mock meeting with client to sell your candidate. After this is the Final interview of which I have coming up in a few days.

      Hays give you everything you need need to know for each interview stage. They are easy to get hold of if you need to call them and help you every step of the way.
      Do your research and study loads and you will be ready for any curve balls they throw at you.
