3 rounds, reasonable! Technical, followed by managerial, HR round.
First round took a weeks time
Second round third round are done in a week.
Offer letter took three weeks time, and BGC is for 4 weeks.

I was selected through university placement cell. further interview was done through Webx, interview was not particularly difficult. basic statistics questions were asked. confidence is decides a lot if you get the offer or not.

Got a call from consultancy and telephonic interview got scheduled , Interviewer was not that interested and asked just couple of general question like strengths , weakness , achievements and ended the interview in quick time not sure what went wrong though , may be I was not the right candidate for the role they were looking for

Too slow hiring process, sometimes you dont have a clue of whats happening. There are so many approvals in the hiring process and there is a chance that the positions advertised may be recalled anytime before an offer is made.

it was English grammar exam which was written type, gave one paper with questions and corrected immediately. Then it was hiring manager role to interview further and finally HR round.

It's very very slow process
1. Got a call for screening
2. Got a mail from team to apply for particular job code
3. Applied after 3 days got a mail to attend online exam it's tuf but can be managed
4. After 4 days got a call from HR that online exam pass scheduling for technical interview
5. Two technical rounds went well
6. Two days later got a mail from hsbc with link mail to attach documents
7. 1 week no update given I followed up and checked the status the taleo software was down usually they will follow that tool for recruitment
8. It's been 50 days no status update whether selected or rejected ?
9.Hope all will positive

Forst two rounds were quiet fair taken by a Team lead and PM himself who tried to test the authenticity of my resume and technical knowledge mention in my skill set. Waiting for HR Round was too long just to know that they are not going to provide more than 30% hike on mu current CTC. They seems to be strict about the hike they wanted to give. SO IF U ARE SO STRICT TO YOUR POLICIES , PLEASE MENTION IT BEFORE YOU CALL SOME ONE FOR INTERVIEW.
Cz mine was complete time waste. 5 hrs if my day were wasted to know that they won’t be able to give me good package.
