Interviewed in corporate office (Waukesha, WI). Greeted by receptionist and waited in lobby until interview time slot. There were two ~30 minute interviews. One interview by a human resources representative. Additional interview by two Operational Excellence department members.

I was contacted by a Talent Acquisition Manager from Generac about setting up a phone interview. After working through our schedules over multiple emails we agreed on a date. As a professional did my diligence and hired a baby sitter for the scheduled time. 30 minutes before the interview she rescheduled the interview for the following day. The following day waited for an hour and sent her a note through linkedin and email but never heard back. Not even a reply about wasting my time 2 days in row. This shows the culture of disrespect that is embedded in the company that other people in this forum are talking about.

Had a phone screen with recruiting manager. I don't know why she bothered to set up the call as she acted like she didn't want to talk to me. Provided terse answers to any questions I asked Didn't represent Generac as a good place to work.

The interview process seemed pretty straight forward. I talked with their talent manager, and had a great call. This lead me to being connected to the hiring manager for a brief 30 min intro call. At the end of the call he said that I would be getting a live interview and he could not wait to talk more. After some time with no updates, I get an email from HR stating that they were going in another direction, with no reason why, but that I could setup some time to talk. I tried several times to get setup a time to talk and they ghosted me. I am a 25 year professional and this is the least professional experience in my life.

Regular process, HR Phone interview, Technical Phone Interview, On-site Interview. Interview went really well, spent 3 hours talking to bunch of people every half hour and was told will probably get an offer. They did my background check too. All of sudden no reply from them HR and they dont even care to reply. They dont want to do sponsorship at all. Anybody who will get the interview please dont waste your time.

I applied to this company and 30 seconds later, I got a response telling me that my experience is not what they are looking for, I have experience in FEA and CFD, that is what they ask in the job post. what a poor process of screening, seriously this should be done by engineers and not by the recruiter. 99% of the time they have no clue what they need.

Interview was simply, we went over my background, previous employment. I was giving information about the company, then interviewed with another manager, toured the plant, went over duties of roled applied to. Management was very friendly and pleasant, as well as employees I encountered on tour.
