Ich habe mich online beworben. Der Vorgang dauerte 4 Wochen. Vorstellungsgespräch absolviert im Juli 2019 bei Eyeo (Berlin).

Vorstellungsgespräch

Quite a quick, web-based process. Four stages: initial webcam interview with the manager and the recruiter, a skills test, a talk with two key stakeholders about culture and values, and a final interview with two senior managers/C-Level staff.

Despite the number of steps, it all went pretty quickly, taking around a month from start to finish. At every stage, the recruiters were incredibly helpful, polite, and clear (shout out to Harry and Sophia here).

There could have been a little more clarity earlier in the process over what happens when you start (i.e. the long onboarding process, which can mean two weeks away in Cologne), but that is the only criticism I have.

Otherwise - and I mean this completely truly and honestly - it was the most enjoyable interview process I have had, focusing on a lot of topics relating to you as a human being, rather than as a robot. I actually enjoyed and looked forward to the interviews and meeting more of the team.

Fragen im Vorstellungsgespräch

  • Pretty standard stuff:
     - Tell me about your background
     - Why eyeo?
     - What makes you qualified for the role?
     - How do you resolve conflict?
     - What is your thought process around internal communication?
     - How do you measure communication success?
     - Assuring culture is easier in an office, but how do you include people who are remote?

    Stuff like this. Then there were lots of other questions about values, your beliefs, what you like, dislike etc. A really well-rounded process.   Frage beantworten
