    I applied online. Recruiter contacted me the very next day and scheduled a 30min HR interview. Pretty basic HR questions and HR seems to be impressed. She told me she will go ahead and submit my application to the team. 3 hours later on the same day she emailed me saying they will not be moving forward with my application. That's so shocking, why waste my time with your stupid HR interview. You should have contacted me only after team liked my profile. Please don't waste your and our precious time with your insane recruiting process.

    I went to the onsite interview in June 2017. It was normal during that day just like other onsite interviews. I asked them when I can get the feedback and they told me the team was quiet busy and will try to give me the feedback when they have time. But actually I know they were still actively interviewing other people.

    I was rejected and they told me the reason is that I did not do something in the coding assignment. The truth is that during the onsite interview I asked them whether I should do that trick in the assignment. They said no. I guess they did not remember what they said. They just randomly pick one reason to reject people.

    Note during that call, for the coding assignment, they told me they did not even look at the output of candidate's program. They don't have a tool to test if the output is correct. They also have their work for the assignment, during my test, my result was very similar to their results. I used just 4 hours.

    A BrightEdge recruiter contacted me via the phone and scheduled a time for us to connect.

    The initial phone screen was about thirty-minutes, I was able to understand the technology and the overall Account Manager Position. I was asked a few questions about my prior experience at various companies and around my overall performance. I was told at the end of the call that I seem to be a good fit and setup time to meet with the hiring manager by phone.

    Had a call with the hiring manager for about 30 minutes; who asked me question about prior goals and why I wanted to be an Account Manager at BrightEdge.

    From there I was brought onsite to do a 30 minute long demo with the VP and hiring manager.

    Pretty streamlined process overall.

    One complaint would be the on-boarding process with Talent Wise... This was a very tortures process, that requires a lot of time.

Everyone I interacted with was hospitable, communicative, positive and encouraging! Process consisted of 3-5 rounds and a presentation. Met with recruiter, hiring manager, team members, CEO & COO.

    Was a pretty standard process. Made it through two rounds of interviews. I was told I would be notified the next day about next steps. They didn't bother to send me anything and did not respond to my follow up. After two rounds of interviews, you should at the very least spend 45 seconds on a simple rejection email. It's not that difficult.

    Phone screens with Recruiter & Hiring Manager. Then a final onsite is scheduled to meet with the team and Managers from other departments. Everyone spoke about the long hours they work here, and definitely sounds like a lot of micro management happens here from the interviews.

    Very unimpressed by process; the recruiter was clueless. She dissed my major, political science,saying because of my major I might not be a fit for the role, that it would be better if I majored in computer science as it relates to the role. She had absolutely no clue what she was talking about. I work in management consulting, have been doing so for two years, and this is a corporate strategy role so it has nothing to do with computer science. And my major is irrelevant given my work experience. So I don't have a good impression of the company. It really looks like they're scraping at the bottom of the barrel as it relates to their recruiters

    They do the standard recruiter call to screen any crazy peeps - doesn't take much more than competent communication to get to the next round.

    Then you speak with a team memeber about relevant experiences - the next interview is about the same but you get a case question which tests your problem solving skills/quantification abilities
    example: How many people take the bus everyday in San Francisco.

The promotion path is amazing as well. I started as an SDR here and was promoted within a year to Associate Account Executive I. I was then promoted again with another raise to Associate Account Executive II within 2 months. I was then promoted to Account Executive within another 2 months with another raise. The base pay, pays overtime so when you put in the hours you get paid for it. Commission checks have ranged from 7k to 16k on a monthly basis. Quarterly bonuses over 5k as well. We go on happy hours twice a month and have a fully stocked kitchen with what ever we want to order. You get to wear whatever you want pretty much as we do everything via WebEx so no need to dress up. We have a work league fantasy football league that 12 people are in. They paid for me to fly out and Stay in San Fransisco for 2 weeks when I first started and 1 week when I got promoted to AE after one year. They also fly you out for the annual Sales Kick off which has been at Disney world the past couple years. The promotion path is what really sold me on this company in the first place so you know exactly what you need to do in order to get the next promotion. No favorites or what not, just hit the metric and you get the raise/promotion. You have direct access to the CEO/SVP of Global Sales/VP of HR to voice concerns and many other higher level executives.
