Ich habe mich über einen Personalvermittler beworben. Vorstellungsgespräch absolviert im Jan 2019 bei Box (New York, NY)
I did the first round phone interview with a hiring manager. There was no outline given before the call on what would be covered. We had a 30 minute conversation about the role and a little bit about my background. It felt like the main purpose of the call was to "answer any questions I had about the role" and that's pretty much it. I wasn't asked to come in for an onsite interview because I didn't fit the needs the team was looking for at this time - even though we hardly talked about me or my skill set. The interview was a waste of time and preparation.
- What questions do you have

Ich habe mich auf Empfehlung eines Mitarbeiters beworben Vorstellungsgespräch absolviert im Feb 2017 bei Box (San Francisco, CA)
Phone call with the lovely amazing recruiter Anna Schernig to start where she lays out the whole process. You then have a phone call with a hiring manager prior to bringing you in for a two hour in-person where you are interviewed by four different hiring managers. Last interview is an intense 30-60-90 to the director of sales showing your sales knowledge. Be sure to prepare if you want the job. Anna is an awesome resource from start to end, and shows she cares about you as a person and not just a lead. Great sign of an amazing culture at Box. I got the offer, and it was the hardest no I have ever given. Another very well known company in San Francisco upped their offer significantly after hearing about the offer at Box. Wasn't looking to negotiate based on offers, but when I told them I was going to take the Box offer I received a call from my new companies director offering too much to say no to. Maybe in the future Box... When I am a CEO, I am hiring Anna Schernig as a recruiter.
- What sales training or certifications have you gone through?
- Tell a story of a deal where you had to overcome objectives
- How do you sell value over price

1) Recruiter Phone Screen 2) Phone Interview with Hiring Manager 3) 2 Hour On-site Interview 4) Final Interview: 30/60;/60 Sales Plan Review with Sales Director Standard interview process when it comes to sales roles. Recruiters do a great job in keeping you in the loop and informed of next steps.
- How do you design a successful outbound campaign?
- How would you manage a pipeline in order to close ~20 deals per month?
- How would you sell this product against a free product, such as Microsoft OneDrive?

I had a couple phone screens then a couple on-sites to meet the team. It was well organized and efficient. I loved the process from speaking to the recruiters to the team, all very smart and talented people.
- Why Box?

Ich habe mich auf Empfehlung eines Mitarbeiters beworben Vorstellungsgespräch absolviert im Aug 2012 bei Box
I was contacted by a recruiter via email and we set up an interview a few days later. The phone interview was about 45 minutes long. Unlike other interviews I've been on, they didn't ask much about my background experience or ask me to go through my resume. Instead, they jumped right into Box and why I want to work there. I would recommend doing lots of research on the company. I feel like I should have have better prepared answers regarding my knowledge of the company. The questions they asked seemed more like the second round of the interview process, not the initial phone interview. They definitely want to hear that you think it is the best company out there and that you want nothing more than to work for them over anything else.
- We value working in teams here at Box. What do you think is an important quality for a team member to have?
