There were multiple rounds in the one day. It started off meeting with directors to chat with them to see I would be ok with the internal culture of the company. The next part is the technical interview where the consultant interviewing me asked questions about logic, math and regression analysis. The next part was a case study using Excel to calculate various things and then interpret some charts

Phone call talking about experience and the type of company culture, with one question about linear regression, followed by an in person interview including some casual questions about the company, logic questions and a short case study.

I had a screening phone call interview with Analytic Partners. The interviewer was very kind and understanding. She was attentive and respectful. Overall had a great conversation. I am still in the process of Interviewing so do not know yet if I have received an offer.

Sent them my CV. Was contacted within one week, and asked to take two online tests, an elementary maths one (grade school level) and a personality test. Subsequently, I was called for a phone interview.

The person who called me was aggressive and arrogant to the point of being insulting and never introduced himself. He immediately proceeded to angrily tell me that I had too long a CV and asked why I want to switch from an academic career. I explained my reasons, not least that I desire a higher salary, and explained that the length of my CV is due to my numerous accomplishments. He asked me to talk about them, so I listed them succinctly, to which he replied that he "did not understand any of these things and they all went right above his head" and asked me to explain to him what these bring in terms of experience.

After making him a list of the subjects and tools of which I am an expert, he told me that I "need to change my opinion of my worth because I have no experience whatsoever". I made him notice that I have almost 20 years of experience in solving hard mathematical problems, and have had actual recognition for my results that have cracked problems that had seen no progress in decades and he actually laughed at me, replying that academic research is not considered valid experience in private industries unless it is about probability and statistics.

Finally, he told me that normally they ask the candidates some quantitative questions, but he wouldn't ask me any because "he didn't see the point in it".

Frankly, I found this so-called interview entirely outrageous. I felt actually surprised and shocked by this attitude, and I hope Analytic Partners do not treat their clients the same way, because that would be highly troubling. I think a candidate should be met with respect, not with arrogance, condescension and ridicule. I don't know whether I will be invited to the next interview stage, or whether I will get an offer, but given these premises, I doubt I will want to work in a company that hires people like the gentleman I talked to, and if I get an offer I will most probably decline.

I applied online and received a prompt invitation to take an online aptitude tests - one combined numerical/verbal and one personality tests. The tests were far from difficult but very tight on time to complete.

What followed was a telephone interview with an Analyst from the office I applied to, who asked generic questions - why AP, why this role, what my background and experience with marketing is.

I was invited to their office for a two-hour interview where I had three rounds of talks with different AP people. No HR people were involved in the process, so the interviews were not very structured. I had two-three brain-teasers only in the first interview, the rest was general questions (not even situational ones). Overall, it was a very positive experience, the people at AP are relaxed and friendly.

I was only let down by a rejection, which came out as a generic HR email. After such an involved interviewing process AP can at least give candidates some feedback.

Standard interview, were a few easy brain teasers. I answered all questions very well but never heard back from the company in any way, I would avoid at all costs. Also, if you are interested in being a data scientist avoid this company. The work they do is very basic, mainly on excel and their own dashboards.

Step one is an online personality and cognitive skills test. Step 2 is an office-based interview with two people.

The company let themselves down with their automated rejection email (after an involved interview process) and their failure to acknowledge follow-up requests for feedback. Had the strong impression that the "Analytics" work that they do is very heavily Excel-focused and uses bespoke in-house software - s bot a good choice for a Data Science professional looking for relevant career development as their processes may be too simplistic. This was also the conclusion of other interview candidates I have spoken with.

Sent links to an aptitude and personality test to complete online then called for an interview to go through CV and skills with some brain teasers. Called for a further interview which consisted of 3 one on one interviews of 30 mins over approx 2 hrs. Overall met with 6 people over 3 hours; mostly very friendly and on the ball; some repetition in questions but just part of their process to find a good fit

Relaxed atmosphere albeit in a pretty skeletal office environment in an iffy part of town. Seemed like a rudderless place as the person in charge was based in Europe and not in the Dublin office
