Ich habe mich online beworben. Der Vorgang dauerte eine Woche. Vorstellungsgespräch absolviert im Mai 2017 bei Alliance Data (Westminster, CO (Vereinigte Staaten von Amerika)).

Vorstellungsgespräch

I had prepared, for hours, a presentation for this interview, taken time off from work, and re-arranged my daughter's carpool. When I arrived, the three person panel was not there. I was given some song and dance about them missing a plane. One woman interviewed me which skewed my entire presentation. I never heard back from them, and it was pretty evident they had decided they did not want me as a candidate before I even interviewed. I honestly don't know why, as to the best of my knowledge, there is nothing derogatory on my record. I understand that companies might have reasons they don't want to hire a candidate, but I don't understand why a company such as Alliance would treat me, or anyone, with such blatant disregard. If they knew their interviewers were stuck in another city, why didn't they call me to cancel? If they found something in my background they thought was condemning, why couldn't they have called me to cancel? The loss of work, the re-arranging and pleading I had to do to rearrange my carpool and the long trip to their offices could have been avoided. It was so very obvious, as this one woman interviewed me instead of the panel, that they had decided on another candidate, and I was no longer in the running. I ask myself how a company, that supposedly has such good customer service, can treat potential employees like this and never even call to follow up. I tried to call afterwards only to talk to recordings with no way to break through to HR. I wonder-do they HONESTLY have the good marks, referring to how they treat employees and customers? It seems to me if a company has high marks for respectful behavior, that would carry over into all aspects of the business. Maybe their "friends" are giving great reviews online because they certainly treated me shabbily for no apparent reason.
